What you have noticed
Brows that look lower or feel heavier?
You may be after a little lift, a softer arch or eyes that look less tired.
At a glance
The details you'll want to know
A subtle brow lift that can help your eyes look more open and awake.
The result
Eyes that look more open and awake
The result can be a subtly higher brow or a little more arch, helping the eyes look less heavy.
A small lift at the outer brow can open up the eye area and soften the tired look that comes with brows sitting lower. If you usually draw your arch a little higher, you can show Dr Alex the shape you like - it helps him understand what you are hoping to see.
How much lift is possible depends on your brow movement and the skin above your eyes. Botox changes muscle pull; it does not remove loose eyelid skin. Dr Alex will explain how much of the heaviness comes from brow position and whether another treatment would help with the skin itself.

Is it right for you?
Are the brows low, the lids heavy, or both?
These can look alike in the mirror but need different treatment plans.
Looking at the whole area
An eyebrow lift is different from treating a drooping eyelid
A low eyebrow, loose eyelid skin and a drooping eyelid margin are different findings. Dr Alex will assess which is present rather than assume that every heavy-looking eye needs a Botox brow lift.
How it works
Relaxing the pull that draws your brows down
Some muscles pull your brows down, while your forehead muscle helps lift them.
Botulinum toxin relaxes selected muscles that pull down around the brow. That gives the lifting action of the forehead muscle less resistance, allowing the brows to sit a little higher.
Dr Alex checks your forehead at the same time, especially if you also want forehead wrinkles treated. The aim is to get the smoothing you want while keeping the support your brows need.

Why Dr Alex?
Your brow shape, your expression
Dr Alex teaches botulinum toxin treatments to doctors, dentists and nurses. He has also contributed clinical cases on treating eyelid droop to Aesthetics Journal.
He looks at your brows while you smile, frown and raise them, as well as when your face is relaxed. That helps him see why the outer ends dip or why you might be lifting your forehead to make your eyes feel more open.
You can show him the arch you like or point out where your brows feel heavy. He will explain what treatment can change, with the aim of giving you a lift that looks right on your face.

Safety
What side effects should you know about?
Dr Alex will explain possible effects on brow shape and eyelid movement at your consultation.
Possible side effects
Small marks, tenderness, bruising or headache can occur. The brows may become uneven or more arched than intended. Unwanted weakness can also make a brow or eyelid droop, and dry eyes or other changes around the eyes are possible.
These effects can take weeks or longer to settle as the toxin wears off. Contact SONÜ promptly if you develop a drooping eyelid, difficulty closing an eye, or any change in vision.
When to get urgent help
Sudden loss of vision or severe eye pain needs urgent medical assessment. Seek urgent help for difficulty swallowing or breathing, widespread weakness or signs of a severe allergic reaction.
When treatment may not be suitable
Botulinum toxin is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell Dr Alex about eye conditions, previous eyelid or brow surgery, muscle or nerve disorders, previous toxin reactions and all medication you take. Active infection at the injection sites needs to settle first.
Your brow movement and eyelids are assessed before treatment is agreed.
Treatment pricing
Botox eyebrow lift costs
A Botox eyebrow lift counts as one area and costs £200. Two areas cost £280, three £350 and four £430. Dr Alex will confirm your plan before treatment.
