Why patients choose it
You want the lines softened — not your face switched off
Most people who ask about Baby Botox share the same worry: they want to see a fresher version of themselves, not a strangely surprised relative.
You should notice the improvement before anyone notices the treatment.

The result
What will Baby Botox actually look like?
Your face should still move. The difference is that the lines show less strongly when it does.
Baby Botox can soften lines across the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. Patients often say they look less tired or cross, even though nobody can work out what has changed.
A lighter dose keeps more movement and may wear off sooner. If a line is already there while your face is relaxed, it may soften only partly. Dr Alex will be honest about that before you choose treatment.

Suitability and honest limits
Could Baby Botox be right for you?
It can be a lovely option when keeping movement matters. It is not automatically the best or best-value choice simply because the dose is smaller.
The honest boundary
Sometimes a little more gives a better result
A very small dose can fade quickly or do so little that you wonder why you bothered. Strong frown muscles may need a standard dose to soften properly. The forehead also needs enough care to avoid a heavy brow.
Dr Alex will recommend the option most likely to be worth your time and money. Leaving it alone is always on the table.
The aim is the lightest dose that will still give you a result worth having.
How it works
A lighter plan, not a different medicine
Baby Botox is the nickname for a deliberately lighter botulinum toxin treatment. There is no fixed recipe and it is not a separate product.
Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces the signal from nerves to selected facial muscles. Those muscles still work, but less strongly, so the skin creases less when you frown, smile or raise your brows.
Where the injections go matters as much as how much is used. Dr Alex looks at how your forehead, brows, frown and eyes work together before choosing the treatment areas and dose.
Useful distinction: Baby Botox helps lines caused by movement. It cannot fully remove a line that has already become etched into the skin while your face is relaxed.

You won’t be rushed onto the bed with a pen full of crosses on your forehead. The conversation comes first.

Why Dr Alex
A light result still needs careful judgement
Dr Alex decides where a smaller dose will work and when a standard dose will give the better result. He also looks at how the forehead and brow work together, which helps reduce the risk of a heavy or uneven look.
He has 10 years’ experience in aesthetic medicine, with toxin treatments central to his clinical and teaching work. Evolus hand-picked him as an International Key Opinion Leader and Advocate to represent the brand and teach other medical professionals, based on his expertise in natural-looking toxin treatments.
Every Baby Botox appointment at SONÜ is with Dr Alex. He listens to what you want, plans the dose, carries out the treatment and sees you again if you need a review.

Safety and suitability
Is Baby Botox safe?
Most side effects are mild and short-lived, but Baby Botox is still a prescription medicine treatment and the risks should not be edited out of the prettier parts of the page.
Possible side effects
You may have tiny bumps, redness, bruising, tenderness or a headache. A heavy brow, uneven result or eyelid droop can happen, although these are less common.
Dr Alex will check your health, medicines and previous treatments before deciding whether it is safe to treat you. If the safest answer is no, that’s the answer you’ll get.
Rare symptoms that need urgent help
Very rarely, botulinum toxin can affect muscles away from the treated area. Seek urgent medical help if you develop weakness or problems swallowing, speaking or breathing after treatment.
When Baby Botox isn’t suitable
SONÜ does not treat anyone under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding. Treatment also needs to wait if you are unwell or have an infection near the area.
Some health conditions, allergies, medicines and recent toxin treatments can make it unsuitable. Dr Alex will check this with you at the consultation.
What a consultation protects you from
It helps avoid treating the wrong cause, using too little to be worthwhile, treating a forehead that relies heavily on movement to lift the brows, or proceeding when your medical history makes treatment unwise.
A consultation is not a commitment to treatment.
Clear pricing
How much does Baby Botox cost?
Baby Botox uses the standard Botox prices: £200 for one area, £280 for two, £350 for three and £430 for four. The fee is based on the number of areas treated. Dr Alex will confirm which areas suit your face and the total cost before treatment.
